New Year and Purpose

I have created this separate blog with the purpose of keeping track of my plants that I have in various stages of growing as well as my savings when I get back into couponing.

Plants, currently I have daylilies (seed) planted in starter pots where they have been for a week or so.

I have purple decorative peppers that are on their second set of 'true' leaves. I have heard that the 5th set of true leaves on peppers should be removed, this is supposed to strengthen the plant and promote growth.

Some hybrid hens and chicks in a strawberry pot that are just starting to get their first set of 'true' leaves.

I recently transplanted my plumeria that were started from seed. They were moved from starter pots to solo cups. Many of these are just beginning with their second set of 'true' leaves.

In a dark closet I have some banana seeds and palm seeds that I am trying to germinate using the 'baggie' method. These types of seeds can take up to 1 year to germinate.

The low temperature this week at home is going to be 23 degrees. The high is 43.
